You will remember that the annual Dante Alighieri Society wine dinner was rescheduled from February 13 because of our unseasonable winter weather. It is now scheduled for this Saturday, March 30.
A few tickets have been returned recently because of scheduling conflicts. These tickets are now available on a first-come, first-serve basis to Dante members and guests.
To purchase tickets, please email me at ddematteis@danteseattle.org. You can also reserve them from me at the Italian Meeting this Wednesday at St. Patrick's.
The cost for members is $30, $40 for non-members and guests.
The format for the dinner will remain the same as before: Arnie Millan, from Esquin Wines, will again be the presenter. The focus will be on wines from the Campania region. The wines will be served as part of a five-course Italian dinner prepared by a team of dedicated Dante members.
The welcome wine and antipasti will be served starting at 6:30 pm.
