WELCOME TO THE DANTE ALIGHIERI SOCIETY OF WASHINGTON
*|FNAME|*, thank you for your membership.
Here's some general information about the Dante Society:
- From September through May, we hold meetings twice a month, except for November, December and May. At most meetings we have a speaker who discusses a topic related to Italian culture, history, language or cuisine. On the 2nd Wednesday the presentation is in English and on the 4th Wednesday, in Italian. The English presentations are preceded by a Pasta Dinner prepared by one of our members. Prior to the Italian language presentations members share antipasti, dolci, e vini. You can find information about about our upcoming events on our website at www.danteseattle.org.
- Dante Society members are eligible for discounts on Language Classes offered by the Dante Society. For more information about the Language Program visit our webpage at www.danteseattle.org/classes.html.
- Dante Society members are also eligible for discounts offered through our association with the worldwide Società Dante Alighieri, based in Rome, Italy. More information about the discounts available can be found here: https://ladante.it/diventa-socio/le-convenzioni.html. We can provide you with a membership card to take advantage of these discounts.
Our meetings are generally held at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, 805 E Edgar Street, on the north side of Capitol Hill. There is plenty of parking in the church parking lot on the west side of the church. Meetings are in the Social Hall in the church basement. The entrance is from the parking lot.
Thank you again for joining us. We look forward to seeing you at an upcoming meeting.
A presto e grazie,
Dan De Matteis
President
