Undiscovered Rome

given by
Don De Santis
Former Speaker for Rick Steves Travel Center

(English Meeting, Live)

Undiscovered Rome is a walking tour of Rome discussing off-the-beaten-path churches, history, art, and architecture. Come learn about the lesser-known history of The Eternal City and the fascinating stories it holds.

About Don De Santis: After a long career in the business world and teaching as a professor for the School of Business at St. Martins and Seattle University, Don has taken up two new “careers”; Speaking on cruise ships, and working on a Master’s degree in History. From 2014 – 2020 he was a speaker for the Rick Steves Travel Center giving a presentation called “Rome: Beyond the Basics”. Since 2018 he has been a speaker on cruise ships for Azamara Cruises, Cunard, Norwegian Cruises, and Viking Cruises. He was also a regular guest with Dave Ross on KIRO news radio for several years.
