For our December 13 meeting, the Dante Alighieri Society and Il Punto are joining forces for a Festa di Natale, with good food, wine, sparkling conviviality (all supplied by our members!) and a game of tombola. There will of course be prizes! There is no charge for attending this meeting.

Members and guests are encouraged to bring main courses, appetizers and/or desserts to share, as well as a bottle of wine. Your favorite Holiday recipe is welcome!!

We  hope you will feel comfortable enough to come to the party.  Our Festa di Natale is always a good way to kick off the Holiday season!

For All Italian Meetings, attendees bring the antipasti or vino to share.
It is best to bring your shared dishes already plated if possible.

John has been playing the accordion since he was 7 and has played string bass in a band since the age of 13. He earned his BA in Music Education from CWU and has performed at Kennedy Center and taught high school band – concert and jazz – and choir. Currently, John is an active, professional musician playing a variety of venues, from strolling accordion gigs to string bass gigs with different music groups and styles. He has been part of the Renton Community Center Band for 33 years. He has performed with many well-known orchestras and vocalists an continues to teach private music lessons and as a substitute teacher for Highline School District.  For the Italian meeting, John will be performing various traditional Italian songs for an hour and we will endeavor to provide sing-along lyrics for the audience.
 
 
We don’t take reservations for Italian meetings, and there is no charge. Anyone with known recent exposure to  or symptoms of COVID  should not attend.

Masking  is optional.
