Italian Language Meeting – March 24, 2021

When: March 24, 2021
Speaker:
Movie Night
Topic: La Divina Comedia
Location: Online

There will be a “social hour” beginning at 7 pm. The presentation will start at 7:30.

About the Presentation:

Dante’s L’Inferno !!!

Our Italian meeting will be a bit different this month in celebration of the Anno Dantesco. We will share a viewing of the 1911 silent Italian film, L’Inferno. This hour-long film, which took three years to make, was the first full-length Italian feature film ever made. Although the print is “vintage,” it will be easy to view as a screen share in our zoom, which will enable us to use the chat to make comments to each other while we enjoy it! As always we will begin the zoom with informal conversation between 7:00 and 7:30 and the movie will start at 7:30. Have your popcorn and beverage of choice ready to go!
